Man was it chilly in the Everglades this morning! I think it was about 59 degrees when I left the house to begin my full day adventure but it did warm up to about 63 today! Go Figure! We cannot complain about our winter however, it has been fabulous this year so far. I will take a few days like this in exchange for those high 70's and 80's that we have been getting!
Today I had four wonderful people share my adventure with me and I certainly had a blast romping the glades with these folks!
Airboats, swampbuggies, birds, alligators, turtles, sawgrass, bald cypress and swamps! Although the weather was not optimal, the environment, the people, the journey was excellent!
